She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Ivory and Evelyn Franks; her husband Charles M. Dwight; her brothers, Verton Ivory and Eugene Ivory; and her niece Beverly Houston.

She is survived by : her sister Enita Alexander; her nephews, Franky Ivory, Jerome Ivory and John Alexander; her niece Tanya Clay; and her cousin Verlie "Butch" Dillard. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, other families, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church (9301 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, KS 66112). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at the Highland Park Cemetery (3801 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102-3799).
