He is survived by: his children, Kristie McBratney-Buhr (Ron Buhr) of Lawrence, KS, Matthew McBratney (Kim) of Basehor, KS and Jonathan McBratney of Bonner Spring, KS.; his grandchildren, Cole McBratney of Olathe, KS, Cavan McBratney of Kansas City, MO, Josh Pladies of Lake Lotawana, MO and Justin Pladies (Rachel) of Topeka, KS; his siblings, Deborah McBratney-Stapleton of Anderson, IN and Kevin McBratney of Kansas City, KS; and his uncle Charles Koonse of Stanley, KS..
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Highland Park Funeral Home and Crematory (4101 State Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102).
