He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Allen. He is also survived by his grandson and his nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thatcher's Funeral Chapel (1520 N 5th St, Kansas City, KS 66101). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
