With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Katz (Kinsley, Kansas), who passed away on October 4, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Rabe (Hedges) and William Rabe; her husband Vernon; her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Katz; her grandson Ashley Katz; and her brother Ethan Rabe.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Katz (Alice), Carole Matter (Paul), Jeana Padgham (Mike) and Thane Katz; her grandchildren, Dallas Katz (Belinda), Jude Matter (Heather), Megan Young (Scott), Katrina Jones (Kevin), Mitchell Matter (Lyssa) and Annie Regier (Colton); her stepgrandchildren, Wayde Kline (Kimberly), Tammie Wilkinson, Shelly Mowry (John) and Amy Panzer (Shawn); and her sister Wilda Bartman (Kenny). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 15 step great-grandchildren; and eight step great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Kinsley, or Edwards County Healthcare Foundation.
