He was predeceased by : his son Eric Lee Eakin; and his parents, Bob Eakin and Betty Eakin. He is survived by : his wife June Eakin of Kirwin, KS; his children, Connie Sivertsen (Eric) of Manhattan, KS, Ryan Eakin (Amy) of Colorado Springs, CO, Teresa Starkey (John) of Kirwin, Lisa Hall (Frank) of Kirwin and Curtis Bretton of Kirwin; his grandchildren, Gavin Rothenberger, Tiana Leikam (Travis), Sage Rothenberger, Warrick, Brodie Eakin, Tina Gregory (Jason), Kenneth Morgan (Melissia), Samantha Hall, Falon and Rylee Bretton; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Leikam, Damien, Aria Gregory and Noah Morgan; his siblings, Roberta Jackson (Danny) of Colorado Springs, CO, Sandra VanWey (Donald) of Plainville, KS and George Eakin (Sherri) of Osborne, KS; and his brothers-in-law, Vernon Roth, Jr. (Becky) of Kirwin and Rollin Roth (Debra) of Cawker City, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
