He is survived by: his wife Elaine Urban; his children, David Urban (Gail), Debora McLain (Randall) and Danette Riordan (Frank); his grandchildren, Chris McLain (Jessica), Randi McLain, Morgan Urban, Megan Thornton (Tyler), Grant Urban, Madison Schmitz (Nathan), Dylan Riordan and Brooke Riordan; and his siblings, Rueben Urban (Virginia) and Arlene Stramel (Gary). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to masses or St. Mary's Help Of Christians Shrine, Loretto, Kansas.
