She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Chester and Ruby Irene Smith Flesher; her husband Carl; her son Roger Jr.; and her sisters, Margaret and Mary Irene.
She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Smith (Kevin) of Paola; her daughter-in-law Brenda Obermeier of Parker; her grandchildren, Shane Obermeier (Jacquie), Shawna Conner (Zane) of La Cygne, Shea Obermeier (Krystal) of Russell, Eric Smith and Austin Smith of Olathe; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Ashton, Keira, Brylynn, Cainen, Lily and Dylan; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Obermeier of Lees Summit and Carole Obermeier of Hot Springs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schneider Funeral Homes & Crematory, LaCygne Chapel (202 N 4th St, Lacygne, KS 66040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
