We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2022, at the age of 69, William John Miles of La Cygne, Kansas, born in Emporia, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gladys Irene Miles (Hawkins) and Francis Marion Miles; his siblings, Gerald Hayden Miles and Linda Miles Smitha Sisney; and his nephew Marc Smitha.

He is survived by : his wife Jan; his daughter Monica Decker (Jarrod); his grandchildren, Jordan, Dillon, Drue and Abbey; his daughter Jennifer Miles; his stepchildren, Angela Compton-Wright and Brandon Compton; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Miles and Dale Smitha; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Miles Kessell, Sherrie Miles Hert Schamp, Erin Smitha Thornton, Scott Smitha and Chad Smitha.
