He is survived by : his former life partner Bessie Briggs; his wife Shirley Young; his children, Gary L. (Chris Gilbert) of Lakin, Jimmy D. Gilbert of Garden City, Bobbie (Kirk Newport) of Lakin and Carrie (Jeff Gnagy) of Wichita, Kansas; and his brother Curtis Young of Lakin. He is also survived by twelve Grandchildren; and three Great-Grandchildren.
