He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Heinrich, Maria Anna Wilke-Macke, Josef and Dora Latus (Fock); his parents, Joseph Henry Kampsen and Clara Amelia Kampsen (Latus); his sisters, Edna D. Kampsen and Rita (Beryl Heitmann); and his sisters-in-law, Doris and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kampsen of Lansing, KS; his children, Julie Kampsen-Lemke of Olathe, KS and James Kampsen of Lansing, KS; his grandchildren, Allison Kelly, Zoe Lemke, Harrison Lemke and Zachary Lemke; his great grandchild Finnegan Kelly; and his siblings, Francis Kampsen of Topeka, KS, Elmer (Donna Kampsen), Norbert (Nancy Kampsen), Ray (Peggy Kampsen), Bob Kampsen of Dundee, FL, Betty (Nolan Patton) and Helen (Everett King). He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
