He was predeceased by: his parents, Vicente Toro and Victoriana Valverde; and his sons, Tony and Keith Valverde. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smart Valverde of Lansing, Kan.; his sons, Marco Valverde (Gwyn), Scot Valverde (Candace) and David Valverde (Casey); and his siblings, Vincent Toro (Anna) of Leavenworth, Kan. and Blanca Toro of Latacunga, Ecuador.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; one great grandson.
