It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Swart of Lansing, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Driscoll Swart and Kathryn Frances O'Bryan; his brothers, Willis 'David Swart and Robert 'Bobby Swart; and his son-in-law Andy Entwistle.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Louise Swart of Lansing; his daughters, Tisha Marie Swart-Entwistle of Lansing and Stacy Ann Davis (Jerry Davis) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Xzavier Holecek (Jenna Zimmerman) of Independence, Tayler Holecek (Lexi Jenkins) of Lansing, Zoe Hines (Skyler Stewart) of Topeka, Kan., Dakota Davis of Lansing and Liam Johnson of Lansing; his great grandchildren, Avalynn Holecek of Lansing and Declan Holecek of Independence; and his friends, Joe Wilson, Jens Sorensen of Lansing, Mike and Adeline Ramirez of Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial donations in Richard's name be made to The Deeper Window Association or AIR Dementia Ministries.
