He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gloria Gunnare and Geoff Merriman. He is survived by: his wife Judi Bennett; his children, Michelle Hatfield (Jeff), John Merriman (Andrea) and Drew Merriman; his granddaughter Emily Mills (Aaron); his great grandchild Maddie Mills; and his siblings, Gayle White (Bob), Larry Merriman (Marty), Lonnie Merriman (Linda), Sharon Merriman and Penny Lansdowne (Brian).
