We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2021, at the age of 75, Jon M. Woodward (Lawrence, Kansas), born in Dodge City, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Earl and Violet Jean Woodward (Finlay); and his parents-in-law, Robert and Mary Orson (Hankey). He is survived by: his wife Vickie Sue Orson Woodward; his daughters, Kimberly Turner (Jeremy) of Baldwin City, Amanda Davis (Josh) and Ashley Woodward of Lawrence; his grandchildren, Heath Turner, Demari Daniels and Ariella Daniels; his sister Judy McNish (Ron); his niece Sarah Melius (Grady); and his great-niece Avery Melius.
His family requires, for the safety of his wife, Vickie, who is immunocompromised after a liver transplant, that only individuals who are FULLY vaccinated against COVID-19 plan to attend.
Memorial contributions can be made to Mount Zion Lodge #266 (sent in care of Warren McElwain, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044), to benefit a newly established Jon M. Woodward Memorial Scholarship Fund.
