She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Seymour and Virginia Ruth Marlow Scott; her husband Ronald O. Horton; her son Ronald Roger Horton; her grandson Joseph Tyler Horton; and her sisters, Laura Mae Garrison and Edna Mick.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Elzea (Mark) of Lawrence; her daughter-in-law Tamera Horton of Lee's Summit, MO; her grandchildren, Patrick Elzea (Amy), Amber Lenoir (Patrick), Evan Elzea, Leah Horton, Eric Elzea and Ashlyn Brewer (Nicholas); and her brother Ralph "Butch" Scott. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Pattonsburg Senior Center in Pattonsburg, MO.
