Roene Jeanette Schonberg Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2021, at the age of 97, Roene Jeanette Schonberg of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Adolph Skoglund and Edith Skoglund (Loren); her husband Donald M. Schonberg; her children, Rebekah Leason (Chris) of Wichita, KS, David Schonberg (Jean) of Alexandria, MN, Steven Schonberg (Deborah) of Essex Junction, VT, Mark Schonberg (Ramona) of Lawrence, KS, Philip Schonberg (Kay) of Eudora, KS and Ruth Morgan; and her sister Marion Johnson. She was also cherished by twenty-four grandchildren, seventy-two great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.

Roene requested that memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be made to Christian Missions in Many Lands.
