Wanda Nelson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Nelson of Lawrence, Kansas, born in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 12, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harris and Mae Harris (Gibbs); her husbands, Calvin Pence and Bill Nelson; and her son Steve Pence.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Nixon (John) and Janet Phillips (Ace); her sister Lila Junk; and her grandchildren, Kim Nixon, Chad Nixon, Greg Phillips (Shana), Nicole Miller (Kevin), Shawn Pence and Stuart Pence. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Wanda's name can be directed to the Lawrence Humane Society or the Bradford Memorial Library in El Dorado, Kansas.
