Betty Jean Rogers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jean Rogers of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Engleman and Ruth Ellen Engleman (Peper); her sons, Matthew Rogers and Anthony Rogers; and her siblings, Effie Crecelius and Wayne Engleman.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Rogers of Durham, N. C., Patrick Rogers (Kristy) of Maryville, Tenn and Joseph Rogers (Miyuki) of Honolulu, Hawaii; her siblings, Jim Engleman of Corydon, John Engleman of Corydon, Nyla Engleman Smith of Corydon and Alma Engleman Williams of Irvington; and her grandchildren, Spencer, Hunter, Nicholas, Laura and Kelcey.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2101 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS 66048). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1998 Corydon Ramsey Rd NW, Corydon, IN 47112.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Gethsemane Cemetery Fund.
