He was predeceased by: his father Louis Samuel. He is survived by: his mother Helen Marie Starostka Sr. (Holtgraves); his siblings, Julie Starostka Vakas (Dean) of Olathe and Vincent Lee Starostka (Tina) of Lawson, Missouri.; his niece Jessica Martinez (Xavier); his great-nieces, Sofia and Elena; his nephew Philip Starostka (Sergio); and also Paloma.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hope Pet Rescue, Leavenworth, KS or St. Joseph Church.
