It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Wahaus Parrett of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Carlie Cleavinger and Benjamin Franklin Highfill; and her children, Alvin, Jane Holland and Jo Anne Kennard.

She is survived by: her husband Edwin Parrett of Atchison; and her children, Karen Gerardy, Keith Wahaus and Kevin Wahaus. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the St. Paul Lutheran School.
