It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Megan Lynn Tarnawaski of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Alexis Walker; her grandfather Thomas E. Leahy Sr.; her uncle James Tarnawski; and her cousins, Jennifer Showalter and Amber Leahy.
She is survived by: her parents, John M. Tarnawski (Jennifer) and Tina Marie Leahy Schmidt (John A.); her children, Kayden Walker of St. Joseph and Angelo Tarnawski of Leavenworth; her grandparents, Frank Jr., Ruth A. Tarnawski, Darlene M. Long and Ronald Long; her brothers, Christopher Tarnawski, Timothy Moore and Zachary Moore; her aunts and uncles, Joan Tarnawski, Joe, Millie Tarnawski, Sharon Barron, Alicia Strange, Angela Garnett, Thomas E. Leahy Jr., Timothy Leahy and Justin Summers; and her cousins, Anthony Tarnawski, Blair Wells, Heather Dooley and Joshua Showalter.
