As Bill departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bill may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bill leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his son Robert; and his brother Cyril Vohs. He is survived by: his wife Maida; his daughters, Kathy Nigro Cole of Olathe and Julie Bluhm Sterrett (Kevin) of Lee's Summit; and his brother-in-law Ernie Lemas (Nancy) of Boise, ID. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of the Nativity (3800 W 119th St, Leawood, KS 66209). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64138).
It was Bill's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the charity of your wishes.
