He was predeceased by : his parents, Lucile Huff Holswade and James Frederick Holswade, Jr. of Huntington. He is survived by : his wife Johanna Stevens Holswade; his children, Sarah Louise and Jesse Holswade (James Frederick IV); and his sisters, Judy Gayle (Bill) of Lynchburg and Jane Pancake (David) of Huntington. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
