It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Rottinghaus Sieben (Leawood, Kansas), born in Corning, Kansas, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rottinghaus and Magdalen Rottinghaus. She is survived by: her siblings, Bernard, Clarence, Marcellus, Rita, Rose and Helen; her daughter-in-law Jennifer; her grandson Eli; her children, Michele Berndt (Michael) of Pagosa Springs, CO, Lynda Heinen (Brien) of Gardner, KS, Brian Sieben (Denise) of Bucyrus, KS and Darren Sieben (Melissa) of Olathe, KS.; her siblings, Ray Rottinghaus and Dorothy Hammes; her grandchildren, DayShawn of Foshan, China, Robert of Lawrence, KS, Amelia, Rachael Berndt of Pagosa Springs, CO, Lauren Villalobos (Stev) of Spring Hill, KS, Nathan Heinen (Kylie) of Colorado Springs, CO, Haley Davis (Austin) of Kansas City, MO, Trevor Sieben (Jena) of Denver, CO, Maggie Sieben (Ray Hamilton) of Overland Park, KS, Emily Sieben of Overland Park, KS, Alaina and Akalino Sieben of Olathe, KS; her great grandchildren, Anthony and Lane Villalobos of Spring Hill, KS; her brother Ed; and her husband James. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at the Cure of Ars Catholic Church (9405 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206).
