He is survived by : his daughter Kailah J. Timmons (Charles Stewart Whitney) of Smith Center; his grandson Charles Rowan Whitney of Smith Center; and his siblings, Clark Timmons (Nancy) of Smith Center, Starlyn Coupland (Paul) of Hinton, IA, Roe Jene Timmons of Smith Center and Angela Timmons of Smith Center.

Memorials may be given to Christy J. Timmons Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.

Christy was a very special friend to everyone who knew him. I have countless happy memories of him playing basketball for the Smith Center Redman and he was an intense persona very tough player on basketball court.”
