We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2021, at the age of 72, David Charles Laney of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Lawrence, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chet Laney and Geri Laney; his wife Becky Warren Laney; his brothers, Tom Laney of Perry and Randy Laney (Judy) of Denver; his nephew Max (Kate) of Arizona; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Salyer (Harry) of Topeka and Brenda Escalante (Bob) of Topeka; his nephews, Michael Escalante, Chris Escalante (Kendra) and Jeff Salyer (Christina); his niece Chrissy Carlson (Graig); and his goddaughters, Lainey and Taylor Birnbaum.
Those attending must wear masks.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
