He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Shelby and Helen Shelby; his siblings, Mildred Andrews (Shelby), Albertine Cann (Shelby), Carrie Roby (Shelby), Orville, Orvett, Paul, Cecil and Quentin Shelby; and his son-in-law Edwin Guidry. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
