He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Daniel Ellington, Mark Ellington, Bryan Ellington, Laurie Chaudhury and Lisa Ellington; and his grandchildren, Jessica Ladish, Aubrey Ayre, Holly Whitney, Christina Hiatt, Rebecca Ellington, Sean Ellington, Isabella Ellington, Tristin Chaudhury and Hannah Chaudhury.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
