It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Minegar (Lenexa, Kansas), who passed away on September 29, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Verlyn Minegar; and her siblings, Helen Barton of Otsego, MI, Elaine Johnson of Otsego, MI and Eugene Wilkins of Baldwin, MI. She is survived by: her parents, Guy Wilkins and Reba Wilkins (Purdy); her daughter Julie Minegar-Stasi; her son-in-law Dominick Stasi of Lenexa; her grandchildren, Kyle Butler (Michelle Butler) of Lenexa, KS, Ross Butler, Tanya Swift (Billy Swift) of Kansas City, KS and Pat Stasi (Roeland Park); her great grandchildren, Kayden Butler, McKenzie Butler, Fernando Cardenas (Abigail), Shawn Swift, Sarah Swift and Indaca Stasi; her great great grandchildren, Avery Swift, Grayson Morman and Leilani Cardenas; her sister-in-law Barbara Minegar-Cornhill (Harold) of Cheboygan, MI; her sibling's children, Steven Johnson (Jan) of Bokchito, OK and Carol Haworth Price (Edward) of Prairie Village; her goddaughters, Sharon Minor Bolyard (Tommy), Kathy Minor Selig (Rick) and Melissa Minor Lewis of Topeka; and her friend Elizabeth Hotzler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
