With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Smith Meador of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Great Bend, Kansas, who passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marjorie Smith Meador to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Smith and Ola Smith (Gibbs); her siblings, Kenneth, Lloyd, Hubert Smith, Virginia Smith, RN and Eunice Frawley (Francis); her brother-in-law Francis Frawley; her children-in-law, Richard Dunkeld and Kathleen Meador (Mal); her grandchild-in-law Navy; and her grandson David Schober.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty and Patricia Christensen (Dennis); her sisters-in-law, Suzanne Smith (Hubert) and Sarah Smith (Lloyd); and her daughter-in-law Linda Meador (Mal). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established in her name for the Overland Park Baptist Temple and City Union Mission.
