She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virgil Melott and Velma Melott; her husband Loren Anderson; and her children, Linda Irvin, Gary Anderson (Carlene), Keith Anderson (Jeannette), Cindy Stockwell and Scott Anderson (Susan). She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
