We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2019, at the age of 97, Nora Mae Shanafelt (Lenexa, Kansas), born in Sperry, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Hughes and Clara Hughes; her husband Denver Shanafelt; and her children, Suzanne Shanafelt and Glen Shanafelt.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Shanafelt (Jackie) of Shawnee, KS and Gary Shanafelt (Phillipa) of Poquoson, VA; and her sisters, Louise Summers of Claremore, OK and Dorothy Hale of Katy, TX. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
