He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Scherman and Elsie Scherman; his wife Maryrose Scherman; his former wife Jane Haas Scherman; and his children, Jim Scherman (Gee), Margie Wilson (Buck), Ann Fine (Kirk), Marian Scherman and Susan Skahan (Dan). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
