It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard James Komer (Lenexa, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Laurie Yates (Tim), Michael Komer, Erin Brown (Kenny) and Matt Arnold (Lacey); his grandchildren, Hannah, Ben, Jack and Brooks; and his siblings, Bob Komer (Sharon) and Janet Gelsinger (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making memorial contributions to "Harrison's Hydration Station" which will benefit the cancer patients at the KU Cancer Clinic receiving chemo treatments.
