He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Loraine and Charles Owen Brook of Chicago, Illinois.; and his brother Richard Owen Brook. He is survived by: his wife Cathie Sue; his children, Susan Ozga (Stephen) of Olathe, KS, Melissa Dearasaugh (Daniel) of Olathe, KS, Merry McLaird (Paul) of Lenexa, KS and Timothy of Overland Park, KS.; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Jack Ozga, Bob, Maisie, Elizabeth Dearasaugh, Kaitlyn, Charles McLaird, Tyler (Auggie) and Ayden Brook; his siblings-in-law, John Lyon (Sandy) of Kirkland, IL, Jim Lyon (Sharon) of Sycamore, IL and Debra Brook (Richard); and his sibling's children, Jeff Brook (Elizabeth), Stephen Brook (Ellen), Jimmy Lyon, Brandon Lyon and April Lyon O'Connell (Daniel). He is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews.
