He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Charles E. Nord and Clara Nord (Simon); and his brothers, Joe Nord and Bill Nord.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanette Larson of Shawnee, KS, Roberta Ogburn (Don) of Nevada, MO and Debbie Shelby (Dan) of Overland Park, KS.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
