He was predeceased by: his brothers, Frank Nielsen, George Dale Nielsen and Kenneth Nielsen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Rachel Nielsen; his children, Eva Norman (Todd Norman) and Dean Nielsen (Moriah Nielsen); his sister Mary Vanderpool; and his great grandchildren, Rachelle Nagle (Ben Nagle, Tim), Anastacia Nelson, Tatyana Nielsen, Natasha Nelson and Katrina Nielsen.

As Ron was a lifelong lover of animals, we ask that any donations go to the SPCA in Merriam, KS to which Ron regularly donated.
