He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Ballard and Lillian Ballard (Wilson); his wife Marilyn Joyce Oehler; and his sons, David and Douglas.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Anita; his grandchildren, Matthew, Spencer, Connor and Emily Ballard; his great grandchild Hudson Dean; his sister Betty Wohler (Kenny); and his siblings-in-law, Orpha Carlson (Loy) and Orlin (Sandra). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
