He is survived by: his parents, Pearl Bruning of Robinson, KS. and Anna Bruning of Robinson, KS.; his wife Frances of Lenexa; his son Daniel; his wife Cynthia; his daughters, Lynn Davis (Mike) of Lenexa, KS and Lee Bortka of Overland Park, KS; his siblings, Roger Bruning (Judy) of Orrick, MO, Keith Bruning (Luz) of Melbourne, FL and Ruth Sheppard of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Laine Stobaugh (Jeff), Blake Bruning, Brad Davis (Sarah), Paige Davis, Riley Bortka, Max Bortka and Grant Miner (Jenny); and his great grandchildren, Leo Miner and Layla Miner.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a Memorial Fund at the Overland Park Christian Church or Evergreen Hospice.
