It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Empson (Liberty, Kansas), who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Empson and Marjorie Phoebe Empson; his siblings, Margaret Marie Arnberger (Peggy), Robert Samuel Empson (Bob), Audry Norris (Wilene), Thomas Eugene Empson, Glen Paul Empson, Barbara Jean Empson and Richard Leigh Empson; and his daughter Cheryl Work.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Wiersch Empson; his children, Stacey Empson (Eric Ruderman) of Evanston, IL, Stephanie Osler (Steve Osler) of Virginia Beach, VA., Stephen Empson of Raytown, MO, Charles Empson, Jr. of Lee's Summit, MO and Kevin Empson of Troy, IL.; and his grandchildren, Lucy, Nora, Cash, Avery, Amanda, Christopher, Katherine, Brooke, Derek, Rachel, Hannah, David and Jeremy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
