He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Meier and Frona Meier (Kasiska); and his brothers, Marvin, Lyle, Donald and Delbert Meier.

He is survived by : his wife Dawn Meier of Lincoln; his children, Paul Michael Meier of Salina and Stephanie Dawn Meier of Lincoln; his siblings, Wanda Miller of Hays, KS, Evelyn Bickel of St. Louis, MO, Harold Meier (Konnie) of Arizona, Gerald Meier (Barb) of Beloit, KS and Larry Meier (Sonya) of Beloit; and his stepbrother David Heller of Manhattan, KS..
