It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffery Coatney (Linwood, Kansas), who passed away on April 1, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Irwin Coatney and Della Coatney; and his brother-in-law Bob Dunphy. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son Mark (Kristina); his grandchildren, Quinn and Devon (New York); his daughter Rachel Bailey (Bryan); his grandchildren, William and Natalie of Blue Springs, MO; and his siblings, Jon (Marianna), Mary Montanucci (Richard) and Diane Ezell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the De Soto Baptist Church, 8655 Copeland Way, De Soto, KS 66018 for programs to promote the study of God's written word or to the Linwood Community Library, 19649 Linwood Rd, Linwood, KS 66052 to be used for programming of interest to men.
