He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Hicks (Duane) of Bonner Springs, Stephanie Marshall (Dan) of Linwood and Kelley Hazell (Scot) of Olathe; his grandchildren, Michelle Hicks, Alexandria Heuer, Alyssa Heuer, Michael Heuer, Olivia Hazell, Wyatt Marshall and Cooper Marshall; his wife Carol; and his brothers, James Baty and Stephen Baty.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions in his name to the Army Emergency Relief fund.
