He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth McPherson and Donna McPherson (Cook); his siblings, Twyla Lancaster (Obermeier), Helen Rose (Cates) and Kenneth L. Marmon; his nephews, Larry David Knecht and Chad Knecht; and his brother-in-law Paul Kircher.

He is survived by : his step-father James R. Cook; and his siblings, Linda Kircher of Overland Park, KS., Judy Glenn (Knecht) of Raymond, MS., James R. Cook (Jewel) of St. Joseph, MO. and Victor R. Cook (Chris) of Pensacola, FL..

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 23rd 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary- Louisburg Chapel (1 Aquatic Dr, Louisburg, KS 66053).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Louisburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Crossroads Hospice or Lakemary Center c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary. 1 Aquatic Drive Louisburg, Kansas 66053.
