He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederic Obermeier and Jessie Mae Cook Obermeier (Cook); his siblings, Oona M. Woodhead, Karen K. Block, Wesley Wayne, Roger Carl Obermeier, Gary O. and Lawrence J. Canfield; and his grandsons, Colby Christopher Bouziden and Trevor Cole Martin.
He is survived by : his former life partner Twyla J. Marmon; his wife Joyce M. Canfield; and his children, Richard K. Obermeier of Alva, Donna J. Bouziden (Chris) of Alva, Debra L. Boyers (Mike) of Alva, Diane L. McAlpin (Jeff) of Alva, Darcie L. Obermeier of Alva, Karen Eichten (Gene) and Denise M. Canfield. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
