It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Orr (Louisburg, Kansas), who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Ernest Weers and Grace Weers (Palmer); her former life partner Delbert Prettyman; her husband Gerald Murphy; her children, Deborah Bell of Palmview, TX, Tony Murphy (Brenda) of Basehor, KS, Marcus Murphy of Platte City, MO and Curtis Murphy (Christine) of Kansas City, KS; and her siblings, Robert Weers (Berneice), Delores Baert, Joyce Yzquierdo (Junior), Arnold Weers (Mary Jo), George Weers (Micki), Lavene St (David), Deeanna Ridley (Jim) and Gaylee Lund (Ron). She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be given to Catholic Charities Community Hospice to whom the family would like to give special thanks for their care of Grace.
