He was predeceased by : his brother Robert Eugene Bisterfeldt Jr.; and his nephew Nathon Thurston. He is survived by : his parent Kathy Sifrit (Robin) of Mitchell, KS; his siblings, Bobby Joe Bisterfeldt (Amy) of Whitewater, KS, Cynthia Rodman (Scott) of Sand Springs, OK and Melissa Richel of Wylie, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Brittany Murdock, Brandon Murdock, Casey Powell, Mac Rodman, Ryon Thurston, Joseph, Caleb, Laura and Caroline Bisterfeldt.

Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County or Rice County Thrift Shop in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
