He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence T. Kintigh and Nettie S. Jury Kintigh; his wife Norma I. Hawks; his son Gene Kintigh; his siblings, Claire, Duane Kintigh and Lula Hicks; and his granddaughters, Paula and Teresa Kintigh.

He is survived by : his son Gary L. Kintigh (Laura) of McAllen, TX; and his daughter-in-law Treva Kintigh of Lyons. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and companion.

Memorials may be given to First Christian Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
