It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Lee Byard of Lyons, Kansas, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Poland and Bertha Schwartz Poland; her husband Howard Stanley Byard; and her sister Virginia Hendrickson. She is survived by: her children, Dennis L. Byard (Vickie) of Hutchinson, KS and Sheryl D. Myers (John Rupright) of Salina, KS. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the FFA of Rice County or Rice Community Healthcare Foundation (for the Swing Bed Unit) in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
