He was predeceased by: his parents, C. C. Dobbins and Creta Koogle Dobbins; his son Dennis Dobbins; and his siblings, Gene Dobbins and Marion Griffin.
He is survived by: his former wives, Darlene Joyce Taunt and Carol Schlatter; and his children, Dan Dobbins (Sherry) of Lyons, Roger Dobbins of Wichita, Mark Dobbins of Anaheim, CA, Scott Dobbins of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Cindy Dobbins of Lyons and Angie Dobbins-Frisbie (Brian) of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Friendship Meals, Rice County Council on Aging, or a Charity of your choice in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
